Ward connects fleet telematics to on-site fueling through the Ward Go Fuel Interface, which links Geotab GO9 and Samsara Vehicle Gateway devices to the Fuel Control Terminal (FCT). At each fueling the interface captures the transaction, VIN, odometer and engine hours and transmits them to SimplyFuel, while relaying telematics data in real time to MyGeotab or Samsara Cloud.
For fleets that prefer a single in-vehicle device, the IoT CANceiver SE combines automated fuel access, telematics and optional GPS. It captures SAE J1979 vehicle data, records events such as idle time, harsh braking and acceleration, and transfers them automatically to SimplyFuel.
The integrated solution lets managers control fueling frequency, fuel type and quantity, validate odometers automatically, detect fuel loss and receive driver behavior alerts from one data set.
